“A life without learning is no life at all”
WHY CHOOSE HARRIE KERLEY AS YOUR IN-FIELD ON-SCREEN COMMUNICATOR?
Most organisations don’t need more content.
They need credible representation — in the field, in real conditions, and in front of the people they actually want to reach.
I work as an embedded, in-field storyteller and presenter for organisations whose work, products or experiences can’t be explained from a desk. That includes NGOs operating in complex environments, adventure companies selling trust as much as excitement, and outdoor brands whose credibility depends on real-world use — not studio shoots.
I’m not an influencer passing through, and I’m not an agency working at arm’s length. I operate inside your world: travelling with your teams, participating in the experience, using the equipment, understanding the risks, the logistics and the nuance — then translating that into content audiences believe.
I bring together:
On-camera presence rooted in participation, not performance
Solo, in-field production in remote or unpredictable environments
Long-form and episodic storytelling that builds familiarity over time
The ability to represent a brand or organisation consistently — online, on location, and face-to-face
The result is content that does more than chase short-term views. It builds desire, confidence and credibility, supports sales and partnerships, and creates a growing library of media assets that remain useful long after a single campaign or launch.
I don’t sell hype.
I create confidence — earned through experience, continuity and being there.

I gravitate to problem solvers and boundary pushers.
Nothing is unachievable when there is a collective will to act. But be in no doubt that adventure, passion, fun and grit must be at the heart of our endeavours and audiences must feel that when they come along for the ride.
I work with genuine organisations, authentic, humble and courageous. Passion is paramount. Culture is key.
I am energetic, curious, can think on my feet, good at weaving together narratives, learn fast, build rapport even faster and I respect and prioritise the reputation of partners very seriously.
I look forward to working with some of you soon!

Over the past 18 years I have dedicated myself to learning, crafting and cultivating different techniques, methodologies and mediums to promote the real-life work of NGOs and companies caring for the planet and its peoples.
In every role I’ve taken on my video camera has infiltrated: using it for promo, training, teaching, vlogging, documentary, social media and even therapeutic uses. It is my passion.
I've run national fundraising campaigns for charities, managed volunteer networks and environmental project, designed training programs, created education curriculums, self-taught myself filmmaking, presenting and editing, lived, worked and travelled in over 40 countries, run social media pages and produced solo travel series.
All the skills I've developed in this time makes me perfect for the niche position of your In-Field On-Screen Communicator and I look forward to taking on the challenge!

I UNDERSTAND HOW ATTENTION BECOMES ACTION.
I bring direct experience in face-to-face fundraising, donor engagement and public persuasion — understanding not just how stories are told, but how they move people to act. This informs how I structure narratives, present on camera, and engage audiences across digital, live and educational settings.

Promoting wildlife conservation projects and bridging the knowledge gap between science, remote working and conservation life in general to schools, volunteers and funders has been a particular love.
In my working life within the conservation sector I started from the bottom as a volunteer and rose to lead and manage multiple marine conservation and community projects.
I understand the funding processes, the need and balance between local communities and international volunteers (including the recruitment processes), remote in-field working practices and conditions, education outreach initiatives and marketing the projects and outcomes through social media within the local community.
If you have a conservation project that needs a trusting, familiar face to communicate the science in a fun and digestible way to attract ambassadors and volunteers, then let’s talk!

END-TO-END, IN-FIELD STORYTELLING.
I work as a solo, in-field filmmaker — researching, writing, filming, presenting, editing and packaging content for YouTube, social platforms, education and internal use. This allows for agility on location, continuity of voice, and media that reflects how projects actually operate on the ground.

COMFORTABLE ON CAMERA, ON STAGE AND IN A CLASSROOM.
With a background in teaching, school outreach and public presentation, I am at ease communicating complex ideas to mixed audiences — from children to donors, partners and professionals. This experience carries directly into on-camera work, live talks, workshops, events and educational outreach.
Together, these roles allow me to act as a credible, public-facing representative — in the field, online and in person.
